It’s a new year, a new beginning, and a chance to start over again. Our January Bone Collector knows this all to well, as he has recently started bow hunting again after an industrial accident in 2007.
Bone Collector, Dylan Hall was severely burned by scalding hot water on his dominant bow hunting arm. Dylan tells Bone Collector that he suffered deep 2nd and 3rd degree burns and had to have many surgeries to repair the skin and tissue of his arm. He also adds “After the surgery, I was told that I might never be able to draw my bow back again.”
After a long road to recovery, 6 months of therapy, and lots of practicing, Dylan is back to bow hunting. Droppin’ the hammer on two 8point bucks since the accident and is proud to say that he is looking at bow hunting in a new light. “I have been truly blessed to have full function of my arm after what happened and will continue to enjoy hunting till I am unable to.”
