Although March’s Bone Collector of the month, Mary Mitchell got started hunting just a few years ago, she has been hooked on hunting ever since. A true Bone Collector that hunts whitetail with her Hoyt Bone Collector Special Edition Bow to close the coffin on large bucks. She is a hard working mother that takes her son hunting as frequently as she can, caring and providing for him everyday. As well as being a hard working mother, she is also fulltime at Recycling Company in South Carolina, taking care of the environment too!
As her first big game hunt in Canada, Mary laid the hammer down on a Monster Buck due to her patience and determination to take home her trophy. She tells Bone Collector that “I couldn’t shoot him while he was looking at me,” and nearly let him slip by. With her persistence to bag her trophy, Mary stuck it out ‘til the next day when she met him again-face to face. She said that he is the still the largest trophy hanging at her home! Mary has a great natural ability to hunt, as well as a spirit for the environment and wildlife around her, that’s why she’s a genuine Bone Collector!
