Fellow bone collectors I just wanted to pass along this web site www.combatfishing.org. It hasn't got much attention outside of Alaska but it's a great deal for the military here that the charter companies put on. I recently came back from Afghanistan and get to go this year. I know they are looking for sponsors if anyone can help out. No turkeys here in AK but looking forward to Halibut and spring bear.

I was at the NWTF Convention and I was first in line to get autographs. It was to start at 9 am. T-Bone and Nick came out but Michael never showed up. I over heard one of his workers talking and the reason she said he would not be there was not a good reason to disappoint his fans. The fans is what keeps the show and everything going. I was disappointed and I think it was very disrespectful not to show when he was supposed to be there. I do appreciate T-Bone and Nick, they were very thankful for everyone coming out to support them.

hunting in central pennsylvania for whitetail is a joke, something needs to be done before you don't see deer. I'm an avid hunter that hunts archery, inline and rifle season and to see a total of 11 deer in all those seasons is discouraging. Every year its getting worse and worse. Something needs to be done ! I'm not the only one, who else agrees or disagrees with me ?

Michael , Excellent Shows but as an American hunter and worker like most of your fans we need a VOICE to start the movement to start making your gear and all our gear in the U.S.A. to many jobs have went over seas and I think our hunting heritage goes back to the FIRST patriots and you can lead the way in investing in AMERICAN and supporting AMERICAN workers, friends ,neighbors ,family and fans.At least give one location to buy MADE IN THE U.S.A. gear because it is getting difficult to find and how sad that is !!

My 6 year old daughter picked the CD from the Cabelas shelf a couple of seasons ago and there you have it. The rest of the story! Never get out of your stand early during the rut!
I was on day 5 of a 10 day hunt in Central Kansas and things had been going great. Everyone in my hunting party had been seeing lots of deer and I had my eye on a big 10pt. I found on my trail camera.
We had all been coming out of the stand each day, for about an hour, to have lunch and on this particular day I was powerful hungary.
I hadn't seen any deer this morning and after giving a hard glass to the area, I decided to break from the plan and climb down a half hour early. I glassed the woods again at the bottom of the tree and saw nothing. I moved 12 yrds and pulled the card on my trail camera. When I looked up THERE HE WAS! The big ten was 35 yrds away looking dead at me. The second we locked eyes, he put it in fifth gear and all I could see was tail.
Now I know every hunter has a story of regret but this was my first. I played chess with this deer the rest of the week and had two more encouter. He always came out ahead.
I learned a valuable lesson in Kansas and I pray that this deer makes it to next year. I've got a score to settle!

I am so bummed out after receiving a phone call from my hunting buddy Brian, telling me that you are not going to be able to attend the 2009 Deerassic Classic in Cambridge, Ohio. I know the dates conflict with the Bass Pro Classic and I understand its really hard to schedule appearances everywhere...but it SUCKS, we are REALLY going to miss you at the Deerassic this year!!!

I just became an official member of the "brotherhood" last month but I have been a huge fan of MW since the old days starting out with Realtree. You guys live the life I would love to have, doing what you love 24/7. I look forward to this years hunting season and hopefully posting some pics of "ole freak nasty" if I get the opportunity to bring the pain 90 grain muzzy style. I will be posting some pics of the triple bearded thunder chicken that I punched in the face this spring as soon as the mount is done. Keep up the good work!

What a cool thing, this Brotherhood is! I knew I had to belong the first time I watched the show: INCREDIBLE! I've been a fan of Michael's for years but Bone Collectors is as good as hunting shows get! The whole crew is people just like me and my family: hunters, conservationists, stewards of the great outdoors! Whether we're chasing big New Mexico muleys, majestic New Mexico elk, the ever swift and evasive pronghorn, unpredictable feral hogs or calling coyotes, bobcats or mountain lions the Bone Collector creed is firmly rooted in our souls. My hat (camo, of course) is off to all of those who created this wonderful show and site. Keep up the awesome work. Long live The Brotherhood!

I don't have many friend that hunt, so much of what I learn about hunting and what has inspired me has been some the the shows the Michael has produced. I'd like to share a story from last Spring when I went on my first turkey hunt and took my 6 year-old daughter.
It's a cool spring morning and I'm sitting in my hunting blind, bow hunting for turkeys with my 6 year-old daughter when she looks up to me and says, "Daddy, isn't is strange that there is an animal named turkey and a food called turkey."
Hmmmmm. I have to carefully select my words for my daughter who has never seen an animal die, so I respond, "Well, the food that we eat is actually the same as the animal. We can eat the breast, the wings, and the drumsticks that you like so much are the legs." She remains quiet with a slightly perplexed look so I continue,"It's kind of like how steaks and hamburger come from cows".
I can see the wheels turning in her head trying to make sense and she responds with an excited look in her eyes, "You mean we get to hunt cows too!".
I had a little more explainig to do about what livestock is and we both learned quite a bit that day. We never did see any turkeys that day, but my first turkey with a bow was soon to come.
About a week later we had two Toms and four hens come by and I let my arrow fly at 33 yards and it went right through the lungs of the largest Tom. My daughter was even more excited than I was. When we were driving home my daughter said to me,"Daddy, I am so proud of you for getting your first turkey and you did it on your first shot!" I thanked her appropriately and then there was a pause............"Daddy, I think I'm ready to hunt turkey with my recurve now" (She had just got her first bow about a month earlier). How I love her enthusiasm.
So that evening I was dressing the bird and then I put my daughter to bed. I was cleaning up the kitchen so my wife would have no complaints about any mess and I heard my daughter crying in her bed upstairs. My first thought was that my six year-old daughter just saw an animal die for the first time and this is a very natural reaction. I walked up the stairs thinking carefully about what I would say and I walked into her room, wiped away the tears and gave her a big hug and asked "What's wrong honey?"
She replied, still weeping,"Daddy, I'm just so sad that turkey season is over now and we dont' get to hunt together any more"..... then I started to get a tear in my eye. God has truly blessed me. This is what being a bonecollector means to me!

We just booked our hotel for the NWTF Convention. My 7 year-old daughter can't wait. Once I told her that Michael Waddell was going to be there, her eyes lit up and now she won't quit asking,"When are we going to see Michael Waddell?"
She's still practicing with her Hoyt Trykon Jr. because she REALLY wants to go turkey hunitng with her bow.
The convention sounds like a great time and we're excited to be going.

About the show.....
What can I sayâ?¦itâ??s the only show I watch that doesnâ??t get deleted on the DVR?
Your personality along with the others, including your guest (like Blake), is what makes the show successful. Itâ??s not just about the hunt / kill, but the experience you get to share with friends and family. When a 10 year canâ??t wait to see the next episode, you know youâ??re on to something.

Michael you are a lucky man to be able to share a hunt with your dad. This show brought tears to my eyes as hunting was the one common ground me and my dad shared. He was killed in a car crash 9 years ago. Watching this show brought back allot of memories and got me missing my dad. He was one happy papa and you were one proud son moments like that will stay with you forever! Keep hunting and I'll keep watching.

I was honored to meet Michael and Nick at the Buckmasters Expo in Montgomery this weekend. I've never met a "celebrity" as laid-back and personable as either of them. They gave us tons of attention and were in no rush to push us on out of the way.
Thanks for signing my "Lucky Lid", Mike! I hope inking it up will jack up the mojo in it. I'll keep y'all posted.

Met Michael for the second time this year at the Deerassic Classic...unreal! He has to be the most down-to-earth coolest fellows out there. I appreciate the time (10min.) he took out of the hustle and bustle of the show to come talk personally to my two hunting partners and myself on how he got his start. We will take this info and try to put it towards our dream...Realtree Roadtrip!

I'd like to post a suggestion for the hunting DVD's.
I'd like to see an extra that lists the P&Y / B&C official score sheets for the animals harvested. If possible additional views of antlers etc. would be nice.
