We all headed down to Vatoville, courtesy of Jim Scheifelbien on a sweet private jet. There we were met by our guide Billy Bob “Bunk” Gallbreath and we headed to the ranch. We hugged Vato, got our gear in order, headed out to the stands and within a few hours had the first four of 15 down on the ground. Over the next few days our crew would have a blast singing karaoke, chilling around the campfire and doing some serious deer management. Total count at the end of three days – was 38!
My last morning I was lucky enough to kill a 125 inch 8 point, this was a great way to end the management extravaganza and a relaxing end to the 08 hunting season.
Thank you to Vato, Michele, Bunk and Jim for a great trip!
You gotta love Kansas!
We rolled into Kansas on the 3rd of November and we were excited for several reasons. First, it was the first trip this year that all three of us were together, (Michael, Nick, and myself) Two, it was going to be my first time hunting Kansas. And third I have been friends with Blake for several years but I have never met Miranda Lambert. She was in camp with us ready to sling some carbon. The forecast called for cool temps and strong winds, but Tom McMillan told us on our way out the deer were rolling .we were biting at the bit.
Stay tuned for the results

Aka T-bone
So proud of this Bone,
I was fortunate enough to draw an Iowa archery tag this year, and it has been a dream of mine to hunt in Iowa and harvest a big Iowa buck. Well on Oct 29, that pimple came to a head. I had hunted with Lee and Tiff the first part of October and had marked off a couple of weeks during the season so that if I was not successful I could go back, cuz I did not want to eat a Tag sandwhich.
On our second trip back we hunted some with Lee and Tiff , and scouted out a piece of property that Whitetail Properties had listed and it had some awesome signs on it. Nick and I hung a great morning set and got this rock crusher the first morning we hunted. I can't wait for you guys to see the footage. I have never been so proud.
Shoot straight,
T-Bone
A picture is worth a thousand words they say. Well I have a few words for this guy. DUDE your breath stinks. Lay off the possums.. LOL!!!!
Yours in dentistry, Tbone
