2019 Bow Hunting Setups from Michael and T-Bone
Bone Collector’s 2019 Bow Hunting Setup
Michael and T–Bone cover their 2019 Hoyt bow hunting setups in the videos below. Both bows are dialed in to sling arrows at just about anything, including elk!
T-Bone’s Bow Hunting Setup
T–Bone is the archery guru of the Bone Collector crew, a true expert in the archery field. The guys would rather take advice on their setups from him than just about anyone! Tbone will have on his Hoyt Helix as he takes to the stand this fall
What you’ll find interesting in this setup:
- T–Bone is using a 5 pin bow site that costs just $39.99, check it out!
- He uses a Specialty archery products verifier peep to help see pins at close distance!
- T–Bone has soft knots in his D-loop so he can always keep his center shot.
- He uses a short bow rest cable for his drop away rest.
- His stabilizer is screwed in straight to his bow so it doesn’t unscrew and offset the shot.
- T–Bone is trying to achieve a FOC at 13-17% – tweaking his Bone Collector hunting arrows, G5 DeadMeat broadhead and weighted inserts.
Michael Waddell’s 2019 Bow Setup
Michael is shooting the REDWRX Carbon RX-3 Bone collector Realtree Edge Edition and it is loaded top to bottom!
What you’ll find interesting in this setup:
- Michael will swap his bow stabilizer for a Tactacam when hunting.
- Michael has a custom whittled 70 yard pin on his Dead Ringer sight.
- Michael shoots a Meta Peep from G5 Outdoors, as he likes to see more through the peep and shoot with both eyes open.
- He is shooting a Bone Collector arrow, that you can find in stock at Walmart, with a custom T–Bone inspired arrow insert to make the arrow heavier and more forgiving.
- He travels with his bow in an October Mountain Products Bone Collector Bow Case, and puts his hunting clothes around the bow to save on weight and help protect the bow.
